I witness the consequences of poor diet choices and overuse of prescription medications on a daily basis. I have never had a doctor talk to me about diet or exercise, but they are always ready to prescribe medications. Maybe the way to fight the drug companies grip on the medical profession is make healthier choices. It is hard when the opposite of healthy food is constantly pushed by corporations who can make more profit on unhealthy foods, but making moderate changes in diet and a little exercise can make big differences with almost no side effects.
