Video: Bright Lights Late Nights — The Speakeasies Swing Band

The Speakeasies Swing Band  is made up Caterina Sisinni on vocals, Manolis Stamatiadis on Piano, Panos Karnoutsos on electric guitar, Christos Papadopoulos on clarinet and Ilias Gkirmpas on saxophone. Together they create a vibrant style of swing that conjures images of an early New Orleans voodoo jazz club. They record in both English and Greek.

Bright Lights, Late Nights

Streets and noises, thousand faces
The scars of dusk… never leave traces
The day is falling falling into sleep
Voices promising the sweetest dreams
In the land of Lethe… you know how it feels
Swinging sirens running after me
So take me out for one more night
You know… I cant live without these bright bright lights
Strings of night playing lullabies In my head… (there are) so many surprises
The night is falling falling into sleep
