Robert Reich argues convincingly that Trump, like the fascists before him, hates educating children to become free-thinking citizens; rather, he wants to control the thoughts of everyone under his rule. Reich compares the reality of Trump to Orwell’s fictional Big Brother. By controlling language he controls thoughts, and any resistance to Big Brother’s thought-police is punished severely.
