When getting an abortion has once again become a criminal offense, Kara is confronted by a grim and brutal reality. Even though obvious dangers are at play, she seeks out the services of an illegal mobile abortion clinic. Once inside the meanders of this morbid clinic, she is faced with devastating repercussions.

Yes, beautiful and heartbreaking. I don’t know what the laws regarding abortion are in Italy, Marina, but in this country, it is very restricted and in some states, it is banned outright.

In Italy abortion is free and also assisted by the State but even here this right, like many others, runs serious risks due to right-wing and far-right movements that seem to take more and more space in the social and cultural fabric of our Nation.
It is abominable to take away a woman’s freedom to decide on her own future and force her into hiding.

Yes, until a few years ago we felt completely immune to certain pathologies of the system. Perhaps we have underestimated too much the danger of historical courses and appeals or the mere human nature.
