No not another, not

that cushion

of a word.


with my granddaughter, 3:

we lay on our bellies

on the warm pavement

watching ants.

Look look

that one’s carrying something.

That his dead

brother he

bringing him home.

At least 19 children and two teachers were killed after a gunman opened fire at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, west of San Antonio, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. (ABC News)
