Attorneys Michael and Eleanora Kennedy, who defended The Weather Underground, The Black Panthers, and countless other revolutionaries against the U.S. Government, became targets of the FBI and had to go on the run.
Thanks for posting this. I remember these struggles well and hope to stay involved in struggles to come. At 76, I still agree with “taking personal risk to save humanity” and know there are many others who feel and do the same.

Wow! These are the folks that stayed with it. A highlight of my life was going to Mississippi when the federal registrars were sent down. I did feel fear, but being a northern white, I could come home and I did. I have great admiration for those who stuck with it. Thank you so much for sharing this film.

I immediately thought of Lee Zacharias’ new novel, What a Wonderful World This Could Be. I guess it is finally time to revisit this period in our history.
