Franny Choi (born 1989) is a Korean-American queer writer and poet. Her poems, which focus on social activism and equality, have been published in three collections: Soft Science (Alice James Books, 2019); Floating, Brilliant, Gone (Write Bloody Publishing, 2014); and Death by Sex Machine (Sibling Rivalry Press, 2017). Over the years she has competed in many slam poetry competitions and is also known for writing poems for the rapper Lil Wayne. Choi resides in Providence, Rhode Island.
