(Gossip Café, Dubai) No one gets hurt it’s gentle gossip Which way the wind is blowing How warm or cooling the sea If we had tree ears bird voices we could join in I’m listening right before I wake up Listening when I go to sleep Human thoughts bounce hard inside the brain Palestinian pain Syrian catastrophe so much opulence here But tree bird gossip floats sweetly When the orange sun sinks over the AZIZI sign I feel the darkening world soaking up all the extra noise hope of the sky deeper inside mine
