monk speaking either
strange tongues or none
becomes your story
you coming home after years
to clean the house and build a fire
to use the poems for kindling
and bring your silence right here

Thank you for those kind words.
I let the poem go, but, as with any newborn, there are fantasies about its future. In this case, one hope would be that such a silence could be the reaction of some readers. I deeply appreciate hearing from a reader.
