So sorry to hear of Jon’s passing. We go back to 1960 at Chaffey College. He was such a good friend. He always was a surprise. No matter what city I was living in. Very kind and kooky. Rest in Peace, Jon.

Thanks for this. In my mid 20s I dated Jackson Pollack’s nephew Jonathan Pollack. Jonathan’s mother was Jackson’s sister. They lived in a typical 4 bedroom modern track house in Ontario, California. Every inch of wall space was of either a Jackson painting or a Thomas Hart Benton painting. The contrast was almost shocking, certainly confusing. I’m still confused by the relationship but this helps! Jonathan and I “dated” for a few months, then Jonathan, who played wonderful piano, took off for Mexico. I have no idea whatever became of him, or those paintings for that matter. “I want to express my feelings rather than state them.” That he was born in Cody Wyoming surprised me, but now I see his work under that sky. Gracias.

Hi. I picked up Jonathan hitchhiking in Mexico in 1967 and took him As far as San Jesé Costa Rica. In 68 we met again in London. I lost touch with him and would like to reconnect.
