Vanessa German: Just in Case

i would hide you. if you needed it. i would. i would come for you. with whatever everything that i had and have. i’d cut the fruit for you. i’d chill the glasses. i’d go to the french english swahili dictionary for all of the most ancient and brand-new words. for you have come into this world with every miracle already inside of you. and i’d write them all over your walls. and on the mirrors. on yo fingertips even. yo fingernails. no edges. no edges. no edges to my love love love for you. i’d come for you. ok. (make this a note that you keep in yo wallet just in case.
