Buddha Shakyamuni: Why we quarrel

Some do not understand

that we must die,

but those who do realize this

settle their quarrels.

Buddha Shakyamuni is the name given to the historical Buddha, the founder of the Buddhist religion. He lived and taught in India in the sixth century B.C.E., a time of burgeoning religious and philosophical thought from Greece to China.
