Video: “the stone of me” by Gail Langstroth

.

the stone of me

you lay your arm around me

I feel its weight

we sleep

I wake

to find your arm

but not weight

does sleep erase weight

help us float

water lifting in dream—if

this is what it means

to be your lover

I agree

weightless your arm holds

the stone of me

mi piedra

colocas tu brazo alrededor de mí

siento su peso

dormimos

me despierto

encuentro tu brazo pero

no su peso

descanso borra el peso

ayuda a flotar

el agua se eleva en sueños—si

esto denota

ser tu amante

estoy de acuerdo

sin peso tu brazo abraza

la piedra mía
