I hear America tweeting, the varied tweets I hear,
Those of mechanics I never paid, each one tweeting as if
I paid them and each one voting for me,
The carpenter tweeting he remembers the plank
I never paid him for and even he voted for me,
The mason I never paid,
The architect I never paid,
The university student I skrewed,
each tweeting and voting for me,
The delicious tweeting of the mother and the young wife
whose pussies I grabbed,
Each tweeting about a world that belongs to me and to none else,
The day that belongs to me and at night the party of Young
Republicans, robust, friendly,
Tweeting with their strong melodious tweets for me. Huge.

I still don’t understand how it’s possible that he did not self-destruct in the eyes of intelligent voters. And why good people I know have signed on!

Yes, it is a strange phenomenon, isn’t it? I think the closest parallel is to Mussolini’s rise in the 1920’s. The Italian people were sick of a corrupt and inept government, and so they voted in a man they thought was strong enough to solve the problems of the country. But of course, his policies led to disaster for Italy.

This is what I tell my family, all happy Trump supporters. I’ve been shouted down so many times that I am incredulous and sad. They are all bright people who would look at your words and tell me it’s all ‘fake news’ for some reason. How much will be enough? Thanks for your words, on my part.
