Video: Debussy, Clair de lune, piano solo visualization

This video is a recording of Clair de lune by Claude Debussy performed by Stephen Malinowski and accompanied by a scrolling score also created by Malinowski. “Each pitch class (C, C-sharp, D, D-sharp, etc.) has its own color, and the colors are chosen by mapping the musician’s ‘circle of fifths’ to the artist’s ‘color wheel,’” Malinowski writes.  To experience more of Malinowski’s visual renditions of classical music, click here.
