Arlene Weiner: Indecision 2016

Bernie’s an idealist—I am too.
I’m another liberal New York Jew.
I won’t blame him for the worst Bernie Bros
And I won’t blame Clinton for her work at Rose.
I’d like our stance in the world to be moral
But I don’t want to mix in every tribal quarrel.
And domestically I think we need a gun embargo
On the pipeline from Georgia to New York and Chicago.
I fell in love with Bernie a little when he dissed AIPAC.
But I think the damn Republicans have been holding back.
And if he’s nominated he’ll really catch it
From their Machiavellian right-wing hatchets.
Clinton’s already endured their worst.
Well, may the better candidate come in first.
