a homeless veteran stands
at attention —
You consider your obligations. You drive on. There is a running man, a shabby man. It would be easy to presume he needs the exercise. Except he runs away from you. Perhaps he is desperate. You presume he is pursued by someone in a suit. Only to realize that you are someone in a suit. You consider your obligations. Perhaps you are with the police. Perhaps you are simply his accomplice to murder.
