“At the current turning point in our relationship with the earth, animals, and the way we produce and consume food, I reread the poem “Office and Denunciation,” which Federico García Lorca wrote at the beginning of the Great Depression, between 1929 and 1930, during his stay in the United States. Almost a century later, his vision of the economic model, social injustice and the mistreatment of animals is even more valid in the face of the growing anti-capitalist criticism and the defense of the environment.” — Lena Szankay

I agree! Lena has created a poem that weaves together dance, film, music, ritual, argument and lyric. This must be the way neolithic people experienced art.
