Video: Little Brother

Minimal crew, improvised dialogue, a child actor, and the bustling city of Toronto. These are the parameters set for Dominique Van Olm’s short about her younger brother’s first solo visit to Toronto. Little Brother charts the transitional time of adolescence when childhood ends and independence comes into fruition.

    I’ve never seen that fragile, transitional stage of life handled more poignantly: so uncertain, so beautiful.
