Goodness! Mike and I were in email conversation a couple of days ago. I hope he recovers quickly from whatever struck. Please give him my very best wishes to heal quickly and permanently.

As have so many, I have been truly grateful for the riches provided by Vox Populi and Michael Simms, himself. May he recover rapidly, then be well and stay well–and continue the great work (his own poems and Vox Populi) that has been so valuable for all of us.

Dear Eva: Give him my very best, and tell him he is in my prayers. I hope it is not the dread Covid-19, but if it is, know that both my sisters and their spouses contracted it– and are fine now. If they are barring you from visiting, that must be awful. I just lost my dearest friend on earth (to cancer, not corona) and found my inability to be with him toward the end was terrible.
