.

In this visually striking short film released in 2014, a traditional tale from Russia is told in a non-traditional way.

Here’s the story: A man and a woman have a short passionate love affair. The woman becomes pregnant and tries to convince the man to marry her, but the man refuses. Instead, he marries a rich woman. To hide his affair with the young woman he commits a terrible crime. Ants witness the crime and redress the injustice.
