A Public Sphere for Poetry, Politics, and Nature
As dusk rolls in over Nairobi’s purple sky, two men approach a villa in one of the city’s poshest neighborhoods. One is Abraham, a young Kenyan, coming from one direction, and the other is Hesbon, an older and more experienced man, coming from the other. A long night of keeping watch lies ahead of them. After darkness falls and the sounds of crickets fill the garden, the two men begin talking and life’s bigger questions start to surface.
