In this Blank on Blank animation of a 1994 interview, George Plimpton interviews Garrison Keillor who claims, “My family was shocked when I came home with a volume of Hemingway … There was a price to be paid for being interested in fiction.” He also notes that “past the age of thirty, there’s no obligation to be clever at all.”
