It strikes me: this piece was a reaction to such disturbing news, rather spontaneous and completley outside of my blog planning. I keep thinking it will fade away, but it strikes so many nerves! Not just mine. I appreciate your help spreading the word. It seems ironic and wierd publicizing my dark past, but it seems to take the sting out of it in a way nothing else does. We need to stop keeping secrets for no good reason. We can help each other: why not do it?

Thanks, Greg. I admire this essay for its honesty and willingness to dig deep. Keep up the great work!
